The images and other materials (hereinafter referred to as “the Material”) in the Material Bank are available for Lindström’s communications and marketing purposes. The Material Bank is managed by the Brand & Communications department of the Lindström Group.
The Material Bank contains Materials protected by copyright.

Object of and parties to the agreement
With this agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”), the User and Lindström agree on the use of the Material Bank. In this agreement, the Material Bank will be referred to as “the Material Bank”. A person who uses the services will be referred to as “the User”.
Registering as a User and using the Material Bank
Use of the Material Bank requires registration as a User and acceptance of its Terms of Use. The User uses the Material Bank with the user identifier he/she receives during registration.
The personal data which the User gives during registration is not used for any purpose other than the administration of the Material Bank. More information on the personal data use can be found from the Privacy notice.
User’s responsibility
The User accepts that he/she is bound by all actions that are committed in the use of the Material Bank using his/her user identifier or by the User or at the User’s behest.
If a User’s user identifier ends up in the control of another person or is lost, the User must change the user identifier or report the incident to Lindström (administrator). The User must provide the necessary information for the Material Bank. The User must immediately report any changes to the information. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the information he/she provides for the Material Bank. Lindström’s Material Bank is not obliged to verify or correct information given by the User. Lindström adds images, background materials, symbols and other communications and marketing materials to the Material Bank in various file formats needed by users.
Lindström is liable for the content of the Material it publishes in the Material Bank. The User is liable for not using, sending, keeping or otherwise editing the Material he/she retrieves from the Material Bank in any way that infringes on copyright or on any other rights, good practice, legislation or orders from the authorities. If it is discovered that the User’s treatment of the Material retrieved from the Material Bank infringes on copyright or on any other rights, is illegal or against the Terms of Use or may otherwise cause harm, the use of the Material Bank may be suspended.
Using the Material
Lindström adds images, texts, background materials, symbols and other communications and marketing materials to the Material Bank in various file formats needed by users.
Use of the Material is legitimate when:
a) The Terms of Use and copyright mentioned in conjunction with the Material are observed.
b) The Material is not edited.
The Material may be used as follows:
a) In communications created by partners and Lindström.
b) In a journalistic context when Lindström is the topic.
The Material may not be used as follows:
a) The rights to use the Material must not be resold, loaned out, rented or leased, given away or otherwise transferred.
b) The Material must not be used inappropriately.
c) The Material must not be edited.
Lindström’s liability for the Material Bank
Lindström maintains the Material Bank so that it is primarily available 24/7. Lindström may temporarily suspend the Material Bank for alterations or repairs or due to system maintenance work. Lindström is not liable for interruptions or disruptions of telecommunications caused by technical malfunctions, maintenance or installation work in information networks, information systems or telecommunications links that are beyond its control, or for any direct or indirect damage caused by the delay, alteration or loss of data due to the above. Lindström strives to inform users of any disturbances and interruptions in use that are known in advance.
The Material Bank is constantly being developed, due to which the range and content of available services may vary.
Right to review and correct own information
The User has the right to review and correct his/her personal data that has been recorded in the system if he/she suspects it to be out-of-date or incorrect. This is done by e-mailing materialbank@lindstromgroup.com.
